Assistant Principal: Jake Schmitt

Hi everyone! My name is Jake Schmitt and I am so excited to be serving as Assistant Principal this year! This will be my 6th year in education and my 4th year in GISD. I have a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Wisconsin- Stout as well as a masters in Educational leadership from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. My wife who is a culinary teacher at GHS and I moved to Georgetown from Wisconsin 4 years ago and we have been loving it ever since! When I am not at work I like spending time with family, friends, spending time in the woods hunting or on the lake fishing. I can't wait to have an amazing year!
