Mrs. Doherty has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Mrs. Doherty is currently entering her 18th year in education, 9 of which have been in Georgetown ISD. Prior to her time here as an Assistant Principal at Mitchell, her experiences include serving as a Pre-K, Kindergarten and 4th grade teacher, and she also served as a Math Interventionist. Her favorite thing about Mitchell are the amazing students! 

She is looking forward to another wonderful year of joy for learning, smiling faces, and opportunities to build relationships with the Maverick family!
